Alright, it may not be the best, but at least it gets the job done. I have had both the Cabrio washer and dryer for a little bit over a year and it has not had many problems. It has only stopped working at least once, but that was only because of my 14 year old son placing about 20-30 pounds of laundry inside. After taking the stuff out and letting it run for a while ith nothing insde, it began to work like it did before and it has been that way since. It's a washer and it washes clothes and I am happy with it.
2. The stupid lock feature prevents me from adjusting my hot & cold water valves to get the water temperature in the ballpark. With my old washer I could adjust them while it was filling with water. This was necessary because with the cold open all the way, it was just way too much cold water for a warm wash. So I would need to dial it down. It it baffling that we are prevented from opening the lid when the washer is filling with water. I've never ever heard of a person being injured while a washer is filling with water. This is beyond stupid. I do close the valves after each use. I understand that this washer adjusts temperature automatically, but I don't think it can compensate for the wacky water valves I have.
We have owned the washing machine for 5 months so far and have run over 200 loads in it (yes, that is high but we have 4 active kids). So far, the washing machine has performed perfectly. It cleans clothes well and dries them nicely during the spin cycle. It is fairly quiet but the run cycle is fairly long (45-55 minutes). Otherwise, no complaints. I will write another review update at about the one year mark.

I wish I could give it less than 1 star. The only good thing is I won't have to move them if my wife wants them in the divorce...

We are now looking into buying a second one of these machines for another location in which we live.
